Flickr Block Bug

As I have spent a little more time adding some features to this site I stumbled upon a small bug with the Flickr module. The issue arose as follows. I installed and enabled the Flickr module version 6.x-1.0-alpha1, and did all of the necessary configuration. Enabled the filter and assigned to the desired input format. Then created a simple test page to verify that the filter does indeed work, and it does. So on to the Flickr block. I wanted to have a Flickr pool of random images from my photostream on the far right of the page (as you can see). Enabling the Flickr Random Photo Block and set the necessary region gave me... nothing. Cleared the cache... nothing. Enabled all the other Flickr blocks... still nothing. I knew my configuration was correct from the above test, so before going much further I dove into the Flickr project issue cue on Drupal.org.

After only a quick glance at the cue I found the issue. The solution (thanks vinceyoumans) is painfully simple. In the configuration form for the Flickr module (admin/settings/flickr) there is a field for the "Default Flickr User ID" that apparently does not pass this id to the blocks (even though the id is clearly displayed on the block configuration page). This field is a bit confusing to begin with, as it is not intended for your Flickr user name but rather your Flickr ID. So the solution, simply re-enter your Flickr ID on the block configuration page.

This bug is trivial (so trivial in fact that I was hesitant to even write a post) and I imagine would be a very simple patch. I may dig into the code a bit and try and write one in the future, time permitting.

WOW! This is so minor, but

WOW! This is so minor, but as someone new to Flickr it would've taken me a million years to fiure that out. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
